· Passed M Pharm from Jamia Hamdard or from any other institution, recognized by AICTE and Jamia Hamdard in the relevant subject securing at least 55% marks in the aggregate or equivalent grade.
· Pharmacy candidates are eligible if they have NET-JRF/NET-LS in life sciences/Chemical Sciences stream unless any new national level test is introduced for the stream by the UGC/AICTE.
· The candidates from science stream may also apply for different disciplines in PhD in Pharmacy.

· Passed M Pharm from Jamia Hamdard or from any other institution recognized by AICTE and Jamia Hamdard in Pharmacology / Hospital Pharmacy / Clinical Pharmacy / Pharmaceutics or MBBS degree from a recognized institution. Preference will be given to MD / DNB degree holders in Pharmacology / Medicine / Clinical Pharmacology. Candidates with MSc degree in Pharmacology may also be considered. The required percentage is 55% in aggregate in the relevant subject or equivalent grade.
· Pharmacy candidates are eligible if they have NET/NET-LS in life sciences/Chemical Sciences stream unless any new national level test is introduced for the stream by the UGC/AICTE.
· Industry Sponsored full time Ph.D students including that for Pharmaceutical Medicine will have to qualify NET-JRF/NET-LS in life sciences.

44. Master of Pharmacy (MPharm.):

· Passed B Pharm / B Pharm (Unani) examination or any other examination recognized by Jamia Hamdard or an institution recognized by Jamia Hamdard and AICTE, securing at least 55% marks in the aggregate of theory papers and practicals.
· Qualified GPAT (with valid score card)

47. Diploma in Pharmacy (D Pharm)

Passed Senior Secondary (12th Standard/Intermediate) examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from Central Board of Secondary Education or any other examination recognized by Jamia Hamdard as equivalent thereto, securing at least 50% marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

How to Apply

1. In person from the office of Director, Delhi institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research.

The application form along with prospectus priced at Rs. 200.00 can be obtained from the office of Director, Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research on payment by Cash/ Demand Draft to The Director, Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research, New Delhi-110017. Separate forms should be submitted if the candidate wishes to apply for more than one course.

2. By post from the office of Director, Delhi institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research

Request for supply of application forms by post should be accompanied with a self-addressed envelope of the size 30cm x 22 cm duly stamped (Rs. 75.00) by the ordinary speed post) in addition to the Demand Draft of Rs. 200.00 for the cost of the application form with prospectus. No responsibility will be accepted for late receipt of the forms due to postal or any other delay.

Direct application from foreign students, students from other states
lacking pharmacy education facilities shall not be entertained. Their
application should be sponsored by the concerned agencies. The Deptt. of Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, is only a reservation agency and does not by itself nominate any candidate requisite qualification prescribed for the course. Such applications must reach the Director, Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research (DIPSAR), Pushp Vihar, New Delhi – 110017 on or before 08-07-2010. No further extension shall be given and applications received after the last date of submission shall not be entertained.

3. Online Application form

Candidates are required to access online at our website  www. dipsar.in They are also required to submit printed copy of online registration form with application fee on or before 8th of July 2010.
The admission shall be made at the Institute for all the courses of study offered. Application Forms for M. Pharm., B. Pharm., and Diploma course will be separately submitted along with attested copies of Mark Sheet, Date of Birth, Character Certificate and Special Category Certificate. Incomplete application forms without enclosures (Annexures I-V) ) will not be accepted. At the time of admission, all the original certificates all undertakings should be brought failing which admission will not be given and no request/ relaxation will be entertained in this regard.

Admission will be made strictly according to the merit, i.e. aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying subject prescribed for admission to the course subject to the reservations.

The consolidated merit list on the basis of the aggregate in the qualifying subjects including general and reserved candidates shall be displayed on the notice board on the date indicated on the back cover of the prospectus.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Candidate should report at the reception counter on the date specified by 10.00 A.M. as per the notice put up at the admission center. If any candidate is unable to report personally, he/she/ may depute his/her relative with relevant documents, fees etc.

I. List of original testimonials required at the time of seeking admission (B.Pharm, D.Pharm) are as under:

1. Marks statement of 10+2/intermediate/12th class

2. Date of Birth Certificate
3. Provisional Certificate from the school last attended
4. Proof of gap period, if any, after passing the 12th class
5. Character Certificate from the school last attended
6. Medical Certificate from a medical practitioner holding a degree not below MBBS
7. Two passport size photographs (unattested, coloured).
8. Acknowledgment slip
9. Reporting slip
10. Caste Certificate, if any issued from competent authority from Delhi only ( in case of Delhi candidates)
11. Any other Certificate in respect of the claim made by the candidate.

III. The admission procedure will start at 10.00 a.m. sharp However,
the time may be extended till all the candidates are entertained/ seats are filled. The Information center and Reception will center be working from 10.00a.m. to 5.00p.m. with lunch break from 1.00p. m. to 1.30p.m. No request for extension of last dates for receipt of application forms or admission will be entertained under any circumstances.

IV. The reported candidates will be called one by one as per the merit list and the Admission Officer will then offer admission to the
courses.
V. In cases of candidates having equal marks, the candidate who is
older in age will be given preference.
VI. If the seat offered is acceptable, the documents will be checked with originals and all relevant submissions.
VII. The Term Fee is to be paid then and there. Admission is complete only when the fee is paid and the roll number is allotted.
VIII. When a candidate`s name is called for admission and if he or
she does not report immediately to the Admission Officer in the
Admission room, the seat available will be offered to the candidate
Prospectus 2010-11next in the merit list. Further, if a candidate does not pay fees after “Admit” order is made by the Admission Officer, the seat offered will be forfeited. No representation for extension of time for admission will be entertained.
IX. No separate intimation regarding the admission selections will be
given and all the candidates are advised to see the notice board for
display of merit list at the admission center on the dates mentioned
in the prospectus elsewhere.

The eligibility criteria for foreign students will be at par with the eligibility criteria as specified for Indian Nationals. However, foreign national candidates are exempted from appearing in the entrance examination. Their admission will be made on the basis of marks/grades secured by them in the qualifying examination. 4.   M.Sc. Nursing:- B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Certificate) / Post Basic / B.Sc. Nursing (4 years) course from an educational
Institution/University recognised by the Indian Nursing Council. Candidate must have secured at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates)
in the qualifying examination and is registered as Nurse/Midwife with Nursing Council of India or any State Nurses Registration Council.

N.B.: A candidate is not allowed to submit more than one application for M.Sc. Courses.

5.   B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing :- The candidate must have passed 12th class under 10+2 system or an equivalent examination with Physics,
Chemistry, Biology and English securing not less than 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST candidates) in aggregate in these subjects. Only
female candidates are eligible.
B.Sc. (Hons.) Para-Medical Courses :- The candidate must have passed 12th class under 10+2 system or an equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics securing not less than 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST) in aggregate in these subjects.

B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Certificate):- The candidate must have A) Passed higher secondary or senior secondary or intermediate (10+2) examination or an equivalent examination of a recognized board/university (those who have passed 10+1 on or before 1986 are also eligible to apply). B) Obtained a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery and to be an “A” Grade Nurse registered with Nursing Council of India or any State Nurses Registration Council. In case of Male nurse, instead of training in Midwifery, training for a period of three months each in any two out of the following subjects is necessary: (i) Venereal Disease Nursing, (ii) Tuberculosis Nursing, (iii) Ophthalmic Nursing, (iv) Psychiatric Nursing and (v) Operation Theatre Techniques. C) Worked for at least 3 years as a staff Nurse in a recognized hospital or in Public Health Nursing field after obtaining the above mentioned certificates. NOTE: Candidates who are to appear in 12th class examination under 10+2 system or an equivalent examination in March/April 2010 and whose result are likely to be declared before 1 st July, 2010 are also eligible to apply for B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing and B.Sc. (Hons.) Para-Medical courses. MINIMUM AGE : The candidate should have attained the age of 17 (seventeen) years as on 31st December, 2010. 1. Details of eligibility, qualifications, availability of programmes, admission procedure and other relevant information are available in the Information Brochure and also on our website www.niper.gov.in/niperjee2010.html Reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC/PH and Kashmiri Migrants candidates will be as per Government of India norms.
2. Candidates appearing for final qualifying examinations can also apply but they must produce final result on the day of Counselling/Interview/GD failing which their candidature shall be rejected.
3. Information Brochure containing Application form can be obtained in person or by post from the office of the Organizing Chairperson, NIPER-JEE 2010 on submission of non refundable Bank Draft of Rs. 1000/-(Rs.500/- for SC/ST) payable at S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali)/Chandigarh in favour of “NIPER-JEE 2010” along with two duly typed self-addressed Slips with name (10 cms X 6 cms). Indian nationals residing abroad and foreign nationals have to remit US$100 by bank draft payable to “NIPER-JEE 2010”. Payment by cheque/postal order will not be accepted. Candidates desirous of obtaining information brochure by post should clearly mention the name of the programme in the application and on the top of the envelope carrying the request letter.
4. The candidates will have to make their own arrangement for travel and boarding for attending test/GD/Interview/Counselling.
5. Completed applications on the prescribed OMR form should be sent to Organising Chairperson, NIPER-JEE 2010, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, (NIPER), Sector 67, S.A.S.Nagar (Mohali), Punjab, 160062, (through speed post/registered post) so as to reach him on or before 21st June 2010. A common written test for all disciplines of the Masters programme will be held on Sunday, the 11th July, 2010 at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Baroda, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Pune, Trivandrum and Varanasi. The centres may be altered if sufficient numbers of candidates do not register for a particular centre.
