NIPER, Hajipur is looking for faculty of high calibre and potential, willing to face the challenge of building the institute into a center of excellence. The focus is on Master’s, Doctoral and Post Doctoral programmes. However, current focus is on Master’s programme.

The openings are for Associate Professors, Assistant Professors and Lecturers on consolidated fixed pay of Rs. 53000/-, Rs.32,000/- and Rs.23,000/- respectively for 2 years initially.

Pharmacy Practice

Associate Professor: One Post
Assistant Professor: One post
Lecturer: Two posts

Candidates should have wide experience in teaching and inclination to work in the area of clinical hospital pharmacy so as to build a strong centre in teaching and research in this area. Candidates should also have knowledge of various common diseases, their management and drug formulations. Handling of medicinal data bases and information retrieval is desirable.

Pharmacoinformatics

Associate Professor: One Post
Assistant Professor: One post
Lecturer: One post

Good background in Computational biology/ Computational Chemistry/ Protein crystallography with experience in bioinformatics and/ or structural biology to take active part in the Pharmacoinformatics teaching programme and drug discovery research. Candidates having experience in various softwares used in the drug discovery, molecular modeling and ADME/T viz. GCG, MOE SYBYL, TOPKA etc. would be desirable.

Essential Qualification & Experience:

Associate Professor: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in appropriate branch/ subject with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of eight years of experience out of which at least three years should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent.

Assistant Professor: Ph.D with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in appropriate branch/ subject with a very good academic record throughout and at least three years teaching/ research/ industrial experience with published work of high quality.

Lecturer:1st class Master Degree in appropriate branch/ subject with experience in teaching / research/ industry or Ph. D in relevant areas may be considered
