Junior Strategic Editors – Drug Information
Job Description
The Strategic Drugs Team is responsible for drugs on the databases and platforms that have been identified as having the most significant commercial value.
The editorial team gathers and analyses a variety of financial, scientific, regulatory and industry data to provide a comprehensive resource for the BD&L sector. The main role of the Strategic Drugs editor involves analysing actual and predicted sales data, maintain workflow and processes to established editorial policies. Using predictive tools to foresee drops in predictive sales ensuring all gaps are covered. In addition, editors will ensure analyst reports are scanned on a company-by company basis, and information is then cross-referenced with company sources (press releases, financial presentations) that can be referenced and used by the UK team to update drug records.

2. Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and its key commercial drivers
3. Ability to interpret financial analyst forecasts, and other financial data
4. Computer literacy
5. Perfect written English
6. Excellent communication skills
7. An inquisitive, analytical mind
8. A team player, who can collaborate effectively with colleagues utilizing different communication tools
9. Flexibility, with excellent organisational capabilities
10. The ability to work both as part of a team and independently without supervision
