Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Hyderabad is a Premier Research Laboratory under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi, which is an autonomous body under the Government of India.
IICT is a multi-disciplinary Institute with proven strengths in Organic Chemistry (drugs, agrochemicals and industrial organics), Inorganic & Physical Chemistry including Catalysis, Lipid Science & Technology, Organic Coatings & Polymers, Chemical Biology, Chemical Engineering and Design Engineering.

Essential Qualifications & Experience: Ph.D. in Pharmacology with four years research experience.
Job Requirement: To be part of Chemical Biology group and carry out R&D activities as a team member. Required to take joint/independent charge of R&D activities in areas related to cardiovascular diseases. Assist senior scientists in undertaking developmental projects. To guide young researchers in both basic and applied research in the area.
Desirable: Post-doctoral experience abroad with proven track record in the form of publications. Experience of independently handling R&D programmes in the area of cardiovascular diseases; experience in making transgenic mouse models with special emphasis to cardiovascular disease. Knowledge of in-vitro and in-vivo drug screening is needed.
