National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad is an autonomous body which has been established under the aegis of the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, in the Government of India, to provide leadership in Pharmaceutical Sciences and other related areas. It admits students for MS (Pharm), MPharm, MTech (Pharm) and PhD programmes in various disciplines of Pharmaceutical Sciences every year. The Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad is its Mentor Institute for providing the institutional support in respect of its management and as a nodal point for the Ministry.

1. Professor

55 Yrs

Rs 43,000 to Rs 67,000

Minimum Educational qualifications/skills/experience required for eligibility PhD in Pharmacology/ Pharmaceutics/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Analysis/ Veterinary Sciences, with first class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree in the appropriate
branch/subject with good academic record throughout and atleast
five/six years of teaching/industrial/research experience with published work of high quality and an established reputation of having made seminal contribution to knowledge in appropriate areas.

The incumbent is to function as senior faculty, under take classes,
practicals and research in the concerned specialization. He should
assist the Course Coordinator in the academic management.

2. Associate Professor

40 Yrs

Rs 37,000 to Rs 67,000

Minimum Educational qualifications/skills/experience required for eligibility  PhD in Pharmacology/ Pharmaceutics/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Analysis/ Veterinary Sciences, with first class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch/subject with good academic record throughout and at least three/four years of industrial/research/ teaching experience in teaching graduate and post graduates students. Published work of high quality is desirable and should have an established reputation of having made seminal contribution to knowledge in appropriate areas.

Nature of work/Job responsibilities The incumbent is to function as senior faculty, under take classes/research in the concerned areas in Coordination with the seniors.

3. Assistant Professor

35 Yrs

Rs 15,500 to Rs 39,000

Minimum Educational qualifications/skills/experience required for eligibility Ph.D in Pharmacology/ Pharmaceutics! Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Analysis/ Veterinary Sciences, with first class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch/subject with good academic record throughout and at least one/two years of teaching/industrial/research experience OR M.Pharm (Pharmacology/ Pharmaceutics/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Analysis/)/ MV.Sc in appropriate specialization with three to four years of experience in teaching/ research Publications out of the research experience are desirable.

4. Lecturer

35 Yrs

M.Pharma (Pharmacology/ Pharmaceutics/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry/ Pharmaceutical Analysis/ Veterinary Science)/ MV.Sc in
appropriate specialization with two to three years of experience

Nature of work/Job responsibilities The incumbent is to function as faculty for teaching and research in the concerned specialization and to assist the Course coordinators and Project Director in the in teaching/research academic management.

5. Laboratory Assistant

30 Yrs

Rs 12,000

Minimum Educational qualifications/skills/ experience required for eligibility Graduation in Pharmacy/Chemistry with First class; 3-4 years of experience in the laboratory experimental work in academic
/research establishments.

Nature of work/Job responsibilities To arrange the lab set up and ensure materials and assist the faculty in the lab work, arrangement for classes, etc. of the M.S (Pharm) course etc. one position is in the discipline of Medicinal chemistry and two positions are in the pharmaceutics discipline
